Episode Five of Uncover Philly
Get ready to see the most beautiful park Philadelphia has ever had, Spruce Street Harbor Park.
Spruce Street Harbor Park is back for its second year, and looking better than ever. The park is opened to guests all summer long from May through September. Visitors can enjoy food and drink from Federal Donuts, Franklin Fountain, and the Garces group, play life-sized board games, and it's biggest draw, the 40 hammocks hung underneath the colorfully lit trees at night.
I loved every second of filming this episode, and not just because of the beer and fried chicken sandwiches. Philadelphia's needed a space like this for a while, and for the next few warm months, it's got it.
